Close to the stunning Carlyon Bay on Cornwall’s southern coastline and overlooking the Links Golf Course, Beachaven Lodge is a detached holiday property which provides stylish accommodation right in the heart of Cornwall. Just minutes’ from the beaches of Carlyon Bay and Porthpean, which is backed by stunning cliffs. The south facing beaches, cliff walks and tiny fishing villages make this a special place for that all important holiday. The Carlyon Bay Hotel is just minutes’ away and has bars, restaurants, golf course and overlooks the sea. The beach is a short stroll away where you can fish or soak up the sun, and a beachside restaurant is available, serving local beers, fresh food and live music. The historic village of Charlestown with its bars, pubs, museum, restaurants and shops, is also minutes’ away and is often used as a film and TV set due to its original quaint features. It is also home to traditional tall ships, which are often moored at the quay. The beautiful seafaring town of Fowey is close by, as is The Eden Project. The Lost Gardens of Heligan, plus many National Trust houses and gardens which thrive in this gentle, warm and sheltered area of Cornwall’s south coast. Cycling, sailing, kayaking and horse riding are all available locally. Truro, Padstow, St Ives, Looe, Polperro and Newquay are all easily reached, and all provide a superb day out and a different view of this historic county. Beach ¼ mile.
